The new Avalon Vons construction is just a very few weeks away from being finished.
At present, most of the exterior is finished. The parking lot in front is being cleared and graded, and the stocking of the interior of the store with non-perishables has begun. The above photo, from Friday morning, Dec. 7, shows the new Vons location and the Bay.
